The LPVROP Rowland Rainbow Child Development Center serves a dual purpose in the La Puente Valley region. Supported by Los Angeles Universal Preschool (LAUP), the Center welcomes preschool children ages 2-5 years and believes that all children are unique individuals who learn according to their own styles and timing. By providing a safe, nurturing environment where there is freedom to explore, discover, create and play, we believe that children will begin a solid foundation for learning.
High school students enrolled in LPVROP’s early child development courses receive experiential learning opportunities as they interact and care for the Center’s preschool children during assigned work hours before, during, or after the regular school day.
If you are a student who aspires to a career in early childhood education, consider enrolling in our child care occupations program, and gain valuable work experience at the Center while helping LPVROP fill a need for quality child care in our community.
The Rainbow Child Development Center is located on the Rowland High School campus at 2000 S. Otterbein, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. For information on enrolling your preschool child, contact Yolanda Walker by email or phone at 626-935-8186.
